Has anyone in the community had money taken from them using a fraudulent PayPal account, using <removed> as delivery address? My daughter advertised a phone for sale at £270. They sent bogus PayPal emails to say the money had been deposited. PayPal don’t want to help, neither do the police and the post office still delivered the phone, despite being asked not to!!
Interested to know if you have a number for them, as I have advertised an item on gumtree and have received a text from someone wanting to pay through paypal and send courier to collect item. But all I have is a number.
