Many of my accounts were hacked and a purchase was made using my PayPal account for over $1200 that I never authorized. PayPal covered the expense because the credit card they tried to use had already been closed been by my bank. Now PayPal is trying to make me pay back the money and although I filed a dispute they are saying I authorized the charge which I never did. I never received anything to authorize anything. I am currently going through filing police reports and reporting to all credit bureaus but not sure what other steps to take with pay pal. This is is ridiculous. Anyone have any guidance for next steps?
