I've been scammed yesterday with £75 i bought 2 tabs for my kids off Facebook marketing and she agreed to post the same day by 2 in afternoon i waited for her msg saying she has posted but she didn't msg!! I started calling and msgsing her again and again!! Then i told my husband to ask if the tabs are still available when she didn't received my calls and replied to my msgs!! On the same time she replied to my husband yes still available but didn't answered my calls!! Soo i got mad i started calling her again and threatened her that if she dont answer or reply to my msgs i will call police!! And the i reported paypal aswell as being fraud then the money got on hold from her payapl then she started msging me!! But then i received email from PayPal saying they can't refund me any money because its not unauthorised transaction!! Or whatever!! Then i begged the lady to please give my money back she agreed saying she will but then once the payment got clear from my bank account she blocked me!! She said she haven't received any money yet its still on pending!! Send me screenshot but i dont belive that!! Please tell me once the money go out of ur bank then does it go straight to the PayPal or no?

Sounds as if you sent her a 'gift' of money using the friends/family option if unauthorised was the only dispute you could open?

If that is so then.........

A friends / family (or gift payment) is intended as a transfer of funds from family or friends to one another. For this reason, there is no processing fee when payment is made with bank or PayPal balance.
However as it is a gift payment, there is also no Buyer protection as no goods or services should have been exchanged.

If he was not a close mate or family member you should never use that option as it enables the seller to evade paying his paypal fees and negates your buyer protection at the same time.
You would also not be able to open a dispute apart from one citing an unauthorised transaction but that would be automatically closed as you did authorise the initial payment.

Be careful as using that option for purchasing goods is against Paypal rules and can lead to account limitation.

If you funded your paypal payment via a credit card then contact your card issuer and see if they will help you but unfortunately they may decline as well as it was a gift payment.
