Can someone tell me why I was charged 3 separate fees when I sent money to a friend within the US.....

Family/friends is only free if you fund it via funds in your paypal balance OR bank account.

If you fund it via a card then you pay the card issuers fee.


Advice is voluntary.

It was from my debit card. Is that not considered my checking account? And why 3 separate fees? 1[Removed. Phone #s not permitted] I think $60 in fees is a bit high for a $350 transfer.

Nope. Both debit and credit cards are assessed a fee and your cards may also charge a cash advance fee/% interest where applicable.
