I bought a bag through depop and the item has turned out to be fake. What should I do?

Firstly I would inform the seller that if they don't give you a full refund you will be informing Depop + Paypal + trading standards that they are selling fakes.

If the seller refuses to refund then you need to get written confirmation on company headed paper that the item is fake from a shop / company that sells or makes that item OR trading standards.

Then you can open a dispute for 'item received but not as described' > put in that its fake and that you have written proof.

Follow that up with a paypal phone call to cite that you have the proof and that way you should not be asked to return the item.
