I purchased two (2) pairs of Rothy's on Nov. 27 from what I believed to be the legitimate Rothy's site. When I typed in Rothy's on Google, it was the first site to pop up. I never received an email confirmation of the order, and two emails to the vendor went unanswered. This made me suspicious. After looking on the PayPal site, I saw others posting about similar problems. So I contacted PayPal and asked for the payment to be stopped immediately. I did not receive the order.
PayPal has denied my request, so I will stop using PayPal as a secure means of payment until and unless this issue is successfully resolved. I feel they have a duty to protect customers from purchasing from fake or illegitimate sites. When this is pointed out, they should take action. But apparently, that is not their policy. Just wanted to share my experience with other shoppers.
