Facebook help is useless, what can I do ?

Guys hoping somebody can help me here. I have a problem with my account. The FAQ's etc cannot help me. I have contacted PayPal through facebook to try and get help. Three times already I have explained the issue, and the response is always the same, "we apologise for the inconvenience a 'specialist' will respond to you here as soon as possible."

Well I have been waiting a month now for this specialist, but no sign at all.   Can anybody suggest another route to try and get help ?

Well we may have been able to help but as you haven't said what the issue is then thats not an option.

So your options are........

Paypal phones are mostly non operational since covid but sometimes you get lucky.
If there is one available it will show when you click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available in your country.
Live chat is randomly available.
You can send them a message.
Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

Hey thanks for the reply, much appreciated.

In regards to my issue. I have a message on my account which reads "To comply with regulatory requirements, we need to confirm your identity as the account owner". This requires you to do two things. No.1 confirm my identity, which I have already done successfully. No.2 confirm my address, and herein lies the problem. I created my Paypal account when I was working out in Dubai, so PayPal thinks I am in Dubai. When I send in proof of address here in the UK, which is where I live now, the system does not accept my proof of address. Due to this I am totally locked out, I cannot use the funds I have in my account, or withdraw them.

This si why I am trying to get get direct help, but with no success so far.

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.
