If you haven't already file dispute substantially not as described, escalate to claim. Don't send worthless item back even though PP policy says you have to (if you are convinced it's a scam). Contact customer service (via chat in message center seems to be only way right now) and talk to live agent, have to convince him/her you got scammed and upload photos of item and packaging, PP does make exceptions (with agent's help), some of us got full refunds without having to send worthless items back. Key is being able to persuade a rep to help you.
