Duplicate Charge

Hello everyone. I recently tried ordering a Halloween costume, but when I tried to pay with PayPal, it kept giving a "order could not complete" error message. So I retried it a couple of times with the same message, but when I looked at my bank account I got charger for all of those retries. How do I fix this?
