Do I need to take action or wait?

Hi,

 

I recently bought an item being advertised on Instagram. I wasn't sure wether it was a legitimate company however I realised I could use PayPal to pay and so I went ahead and bought it. I received a PayPal invoice however I had no response from the company to confirm my purchase. In addition, I have had no dispatch details or an id number. I do a lot of online shopping and always receive an instant response from companies I have purchased from. I have sent them an email and I am waiting for them to get back to me.

 

My question is, should I wait a few more days and hope they will send me some information OR should I file a complaint straight away to PayPal dispute services?

 

I hope this is a valid question and would love to get an oppinion on the matter,
