Disputes return items

I need help with a dispute. The seller sent me the wrong item. The items I received came from an address in California and now they are sending me an address in China to return my items that I paid $75. To return these items to China instead of California I will have to pay $108. This is unfair that the seller is making this very difficult for me to settle their mistake fairly. I would like my money back of $75 and an address that they send this from California. This is the worst experience with the seller!

Chinese Web Sites or on Social Media ads easy to spot (once you know the below signs) so buyer beware.

1. No return address on the returns policy. The site will look as if its in your country (where they despatch goods from) but they will ask for returns to go back to China (returns depot) at a shipping cost often more than the item is worth.
2. No contact telephone number. if you click on contact the most you will get is webmail or an email address.
3. Rarely company address information.
4. Great pictures of items at bargain prices that turn out to be tat.
5. Fake reviews.

6. Google, you can often see previous company names as they change them once enough claims roll in and Paypal stop them using their services so they just start over with another company name.

Paypal state this >>
PayPal is not obliged to reimburse you for any costs that you incur to comply with any of PayPal’s requests for cooperation for the purpose of resolving the problem (including, without limitation, costs that you incur to return a SNAD item to the Payment Recipient or another party as PayPal requests), although sometimes it may reimburse these costs.

Although they will compensate you for some of the cost if you have activated this at some point before you made that transaction.

You also have the option to do a chargeback via your card issuer instead of a Paypal dispute if you funded your Paypal payment via a credit card.

FINALLY TRY CONTACTING CUSTOMER SERVICES IF THEY TELL YOU TO RETURN THE ITEM FIRST AFTER WINNING ANY DISPUTE AS SOMETIMES WHEN YOU EXPLAIN THEY ISSUE A REFUND WITHOUT RETURN BUT THAT IS NOT GUARANTEED.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
