Hi, can someone help me please. I purchased an item off eBay and it did not arrive. I contacted eBay in relation and I received an email to say I am covered under PayPal Gateway, as I did not pay with my PayPal account, however my payment goes into their PayPal account so there is a record of my payment to them and I am covered under PayPal buyer protection. I was informed I can raise this dispute through PayPal with a guest account but I am unsure how to do this? Also when I try to make the dispute on my own page through resolve centre, I cannot go any further, as the transaction does not show for me to click on? I have my transaction ID, guest account number and my email ID. Can someone explain how I go about this? Thank you 🙂

If you need to open a dispute for a 'guest buyer' transaction then you can.......

1. Phone Paypal customer services and see if they will open one for you (difficult at the moment due to covid)
OR
2. Contact your card issuer for a chargeback.
