Dispute not in my favour

I opened a dispute in the resolution centre because I had not received the item after 12 weeks. The seller provided tracking details and this showed the item as with Royal Mail. However, when I contacted Royal Mail they said there is no item and that the tracking number is false and a well known scam. What do I do? I am out of pocket with no item and Paypal have rejected my dispute. HELP!!!
