Dispute denied

I made a stupid error and sent funds to the wrong recipient from my list of PayPal recipients from the past.  I cannot get the person to cancel the transaction.  I started a case and it was denied.  I appealed the decision and I am afraid that they will simply deny the appeal.  When I submitted my appeal there was an option that I could have uploaded the agreement that I owed this money to the other PayPal past recipient.  I wish I would have done that.  Does anyone have any suggestions other than to attempt to continued to convince the wrong recipient to send me the money he was not supposed to receive.  It is almost $5,000.

Some facts would help.

How did you send the money ie goods/services or friends/family?

How did you fund the paypal payment, balance / card / bank account or credit card.

Which dispute did you open and did you escalate to a claim?
