Dispute by Buyer

A buyer after over a week of receiving my item is disputing the charges as “unauthorized transaction”. I am a bit confused, the tracking number showing it was received at the buildings front desk. I have a guess maybe someone hacked the person’s PayPal account? Or the buyer is lying. And now my paypal shows negative the amount of money I sold... is it just temporary or do I have to pay it back? If I pay it back I need my item to be returned to me. Help please!

An unauthorised transaction means that an account holders Paypal account was hacked and used without their consent by your ?buyer.
If Paypal check IP addresses etc and find in favour of the account holder then of course they are reimbursed.
However you would not lose out either as long as you met ALL the requirements of seller protection, so your best bet is to go and read up on it to make sure you were covered.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
