Dispures/ Escalate

Hey, what is it with Paypal that they send you notifications that your dispute may end unless you ESCALATE it. You send them documentation and numerous Emails. And ask them ( Paypal )to get back to you. And all they do is send an Email saying because you did NOT Escalate it i ssd's now closed. In favor of the seller. The payment invoice say buy 2 get ONE FREE. I am sent only 1. The package invoice on the outside of the shipping container states on 1 unit inside. Who is running this company?? A bunch of loosers? I cannot believe they do this. They are as much of a RIP OFF as the seller !!!!

Hi @Llibsudrok,

I'm sorry that there was any confusion regarding the dispute. A dispute is a conversation between the buyer and the seller via the PayPal platform. PayPal does not take actions on this buyer-seller dispute until it is escalated to a claim. Once it is a claim, PayPal reviews the circumstances and makes a determination. If a dispute is not escalated to a claim within 20 days, the dispute is closed and it is not possible to reopen it. It is in your best interest to escalate a dispute if the seller has not resolved the situation during the dispute phase.

I hope this helps clarify. I'm sorry that you experienced loss as a result of not understanding the process.
