Just curious if anyone has run into this issue. A little over a week ago I sent a 1000.00 deposit to a company to have a trailer built. Since then I found out I could not receive financing for such purchase. I never signed a contract. Just had a invoice minus said deposit. Will I have a chance to receive my deposit back. Or do I lose that 1k?
Seller told me that he wouldn't refund the total amount.does any one have any info on this? Is that legal to accept and keep money with out having a contract signed? It was a honest mistake and I have addressed this with seller.and he said he couldn't tell me anything else.he wouldn't even give me the owners name of the company because he said he didn't think the owner would like that.sounds fishy. Any body???
