I ordered a coffee machine through Delonghis website (which is terrible) and, after a day, decided to cancel.
To cancel I had to email them and ask. The website provided no means to cancel. They did not respond so I jumped on live chat. The help operative cancelled the order and closed the chat session before I could say anything else or confirm details.
I can no longer see the order in my account and have received no email confirmation of cancellation. I have also noticed that the transaction is still pending on my paypal account. I spoke to live chat again and they said that they do not have the ability to cancel the paypal pending transaction. Which seems like garbage.
So now what? :-(
If its pending 'authorisation' then.............
When you pay a company (rather than an ebay seller or individual), then it is often pending until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment.
If they don't process that order and capture the pending payment then the pending status times out at 30 days post-payment.
