I sent a retainer to an attorney via Paypal. Then got her agreement via email stating that she specifically didn't do the work that I was requesting that have her do, and then she refused to return my retainer. What do I do now?

- Locate and click payment transaction in your PayPal account activity
- Click "Report a problem"
- Click “I didn't receive an item I purchased”.
If that recourse fails and you paid with credit card, dispute through your card issuer.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Unfortunately PayPal sided with the other person, who scammed me out of $1000. She was an attorney who took my money but did not provide the professional services I paid for.
