Does anyone know if I can claim back a £12 customs charge paid via paypal when I didnt pay for the original item through ebay or paypal? I've been scammed on an item and are in contact with my bank for the initial amount.

In general, our Buyer Protection policy covers in case of an unauthorised transaction, for an Item Not Received or for an Item Not As Described. As you bought a custom charge, we may not be able to cover the transaction under our Buyer Protection policy, I am afraid.
