I sent a parcel out and it has been held, since February, at the recipient's local depot awaiting payment of charges (thanks, Brexit!). He is refusing to even contact them and has opened a dispute against me as he has not received his goods. Has anyone had this issue before? Does anyone know how Paypal will handle that? I have disputed the claim and it is being reviewed, but do Paypal have any provision for this? It's not my fault the recipient is refusing to pay the customs charges so why should I lose out? I cannot claim for loss from the courier so this is quite a worry for me as a small sole trader!
