Credit Card Charged/ No Activity in PP account

Morning folks, Earlier this week, I sent money to somebody via PayPal. It’s showing up on my credit card statement but there is no trace of it in my PayPal account. Getting hold of the person I’ve sent the money to is proving tricky as they’re not replying to email or text. Worrying. Any ideas what’s happened as far as PayPal is concerned and what, if anything, I can do? Best wishes, ITPB

I am sorry about your issue. It seems like you have made a payment as a "Guest" using your credit card, instead of logging in to your PayPal account.
