Confirm identity, married name on social maiden on license, I accepted verify

So, I am trying to verify my identity because my account is locked now and t won’t accept my documents because I made the account under my married name and i never changed the name on my license. How can I get PayPal to change the name on my account back to my maiden so I can access my money??

Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting.

You can change the name on your account if it's misspelled or if you've legally changed your name. It is not possible to change the name on your account to another person's name. 

Here’s how to change your name:

1. Click the Settings icon next to "Log out."
2. Click Update below your name.
3. Select your type of name change.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen and click either Continue or Update Name.

Note that, depending on the type of name change, you may need to submit documentation for our review. It normally takes 3-5 business days for a review.
