Closed paypal account but need to make a claim

I bought an item a few months ago which i now found out is fake. The paypal account i used I closed a few weeks ago as I don't use it anymore.

Is there anything I can do? I have the transaction ID, sellers email and my pay confirmation etc.

Hi @hanb123 Sorry to hear about that, since PayPal account is closed we cannot open a claim anymore on this transaction. You may try to contact you card company / financial institution about it. Thank you.
