Closed dispute case

So there was an unauthorized payment in my paypal. I saw it because I saw the email in my inbox and I was confused because I haven't purchased anything. I dispute the payment but paypal denied it because they found that the purchase was not unauthorized.

The purchase was money being sent to someone. I have no clue who that person is and it was in USD. I live in Canada and I don't have family in the US, so why would I have sent money to somewhere where I don't know anyone. What more evidence do they want?

Read this so you'll know your rights, if you need to kick things up a notch:

https://www.paypal.com/ca/webapps/mpp/ua/useragreement-full?locale.x=en_CA#unauthorized-transactions

Then call customer service to re-investigate.

Click HELP at the top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, scroll down to click CALL US.

The real scary thing is when this is done and IP address used is yours; hackers are getting more and more stealth.

If you ain't using wifi on a device, turn the wifi off.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
