Hi. I placed a claim against a seller 9 days ago. The seller is not responding to the claim. Does anyone know what happens next do I need to the wait for the full 20 days for them to reply and then will PayPal review the case on the info they have from me only? Thanks Joanne

Claims don't last up to 20 days, disputes do.

So have you opened a dispute?

If so then you have 'up to' 20 days to escalate it to a claim.

However you do not have to wait 20 days, you can escalate to a claim whenever you want to.

Paypal do not get involved until its a claim.

Thank you. It says it’s a claim at the top of the issue rather than a dispute.

The link gives you more info

BUT

Everything is taking longer at the moment including payment releases / disputes / refunds / withdrawals etc as Paypal is working with reduced staff and in difficult circumstances due to covid, hopefully reviewed soon.
