Claim glitche

I had a claim open and all sudden it says I closed it has this ever happened to anyone now paypal won’t reopen the claim and the item I received from the shipper was damaged

Did you escalate the dispute to a claim before it timed out at 20 days post opening OR was it a claim and paypal decided in the sellers favour?
