Sold an item to someone- a motorcycle pipe. stated what it was, price clearly reflected that. There was no muffler coming with it- never said there was. For the same item with muffler the retail price is $1200. I was selling for $400. But obviously the buyer thinks there was supposed to be a muffler also because i guess he failed to clarify. Now they are filing a claim for “not as described” wanting a refund. Which is fine. Mix ups happen and if they were under the impression it was supposed to be something else I have no issue refunding money and getting it back. My question is, the item cost $90 to ship. And he wants me to pay shipping for the return also. Which I don’t think is fair. And how do I know I will actually receive the item back, still in its brand new condition in the same packaging? (It was brand new, in the original box)
