Case of Fraud

I was contacted recently by fraud unit overseeing my banking, bank card that someone was attempting to purchase an item after using my CC number. That issue was and the card disabled that day. Then today I got letter from bank someone attempted to use my card to set up PayPal account. Is this common & what does PayPal reccommend to deal with this breach?

I hope all is well with you and your family.  Reading your post makes me frustrated and i'm so sorry to hear that since account security of our customer is our main priority.  As far as i know since my stay here in PayPal as a customer service representative there is no such thing happen here in PayPal.
