Hi I opened two cases against a Seller for items not received and the tracking provided shows that the items are stuck in China on some websites and that tracking does not exist on other tracking sites. On the first case, paypal promptly decided in my favour and refunded me. The case was closed but a few days later it shows case being reviewed by paypal. Is this normal please? On the second case, it is still under review by paypal for almost 20 days now. It goes without saying that I waited long enough for the items to arrive prior to opening a dispute as I am well aware that shipments may take time. I have ordered a few items from the same seller. A number of them reached without problem with a different shipping method but these two are using CN post and they appear to be stuck. What can I do please? I am getting automated generic emails when trying to get in touch with paypal by mail.

Perhaps the seller appealed so PayPal is reviewing it and extending the claim for x amount of days, pending results of the tracking. Just have to wait. You haven't lost the dispute yet.

Thank you so much for your response. I really appreciate your help. I was extremely concerned on the two cases as despite calling the local post office the items cannot be tracked.

China Post shipments do take a long time to arrive, up to several weeks, and it seems like seller is using regular intl airmail that only tracks until it leaves China. PayPal allows buyer to dispute 180 days from date of payment to allow ample time for delivery. Don't know how long you've waited so far. Keep in mind that IF you do lose the case and still have not received your goods, then you may file a dispute with your credit card issuer, if that's how you funded your purchase.

I did wait over 60 days. The Seller advised it would be received in between 30-40 days. I still gave it a bit more time. The first case is now definitely closed. Paypal must have reviewed the evidence and tracking provided by the Seller. As far as the second case is concerned, I very much hope that Paypal will review the tracking and decide accordingly. I have received a number of items from the Seller in 20-30 days but they used Belgium Post/Netherlands post even untracked. But on the CN post nothing has been received. Yes indeed, I will have no other option that to request a chargeback from my CC company but I very much hope that paypal will take the same stand in both cases as they are identical. Of course if product reaches eventually I will contact the Seller and refund them. I contacted paypal on FB as per your advice and I am awaiting their response. Thanks again
