Sadly if it was a dispute done via his card issuer and not a paypal dispute then they make the decision not paypal. If you think it was wrong then nothing to stop you taking private legal action against him maybe?

The problem was through PayPal all along but at the end the buyer did something with his card company. And his card co pony sided with the buyer but PayPal has all the proofs that he lied.
what is going on? How is it possible? Is there any recourse possible?
