Cancelling and order

Hi can someone help me I recently was going to making a purchase so logged into Paypal but I never confirmed the order back on the merchants website and PayPal still charged me for this I have been contacting PayPal with no avail. They have declined unauthorised use and have completely ignored my call can someone give me some advice on how to proceed as I never confirmed the transaction.

What does it say next to the transaction in your Paypal account?

1. Pending / Unclaimed.
2. Pending / Unclaimed with a cancel option.
3. Completed / Sent.
4. Pending / Uncleared.
5. Pending awaiting authorisation.

It says completed

If its completed then you would need to open a dispute for non receipt of item.

You don't open one for unauthorised as that is telling paypal that your account was hacked and used without your consent which is not the case.
