Can I get my claim reviewed sooner?

I recently got scammed by a seller who was selling online some expensive shoes which they didn’t actually have. I set up a PayPal claim as I do have Buyer Protection and am entitled to a full refund for not receiving the item, however the seller refuses to respond to the claims although they have been emailing me. Is there any way I can speed up the claim? I don’t want to wait up to 30 days for review by PayPal and can’t really afford to. Should I phone or email PayPal ? But I don’t know if that would even make a difference as it hasn’t passed the 10 days for the seller to respond.

Why would you wait 30 days??

 

If you have already escalated the dispute to a claim then Paypal give the seller 10 days to provide trackable proof of delivery of the item to you and if not then you should get a refund within 48 hours of that 10 day deadline being met.

Hi, thank you for helping me. The deadline for the seller to respond was 14th June and it is now 5 days later, 19th. The status of the claim has remained the same at awaiting seller’s response. I emailed PayPal and they said to resolve a case it takes approximately 30 days and some cases take longer? But I didn’t think this case would be a complicated one?
