COVID-19...online fundraising Violated Terms of Usage Policy, Froze account,

Our 501c3 resorted to online fundraising after the Covid-19 stopped our public dinners .  We had a raffle for guns and/or Cash without realizing guns violated policy.  PayPal took the money in the account without allowing us opportunity to discuss the cash option.  We are located in the middle of some of the best hunting in the U.S.  PayPal claims they were injured by our actions.  No purchasers  of the tickets complained.  No complaints filed.  PayPal STOLE all the money in the account without interactive due process.

Do we have any other Actions available to us besides filing in small claims court?

Shame on PayPal hitting non profit in this day and age...plus it is a Fire Company which is at extreme risk right now.

Appreciate any help.  TERMS OF SERVICE, LIMITED ACCOUNT, PENALTY , STOLEN FUNDS. LAWSUIT

Good luck with your lawsuit as you broke paypals acceptable use policy in 2 ways.

Prohibited Activities

1.

You may not use the PayPal service for activities that relate to transactions involving:

(j) ammunition, firearms, or certain firearm parts or accessories, or (k) certain weapons or knives regulated under applicable law.

2.

PayPal requires pre-approval to accept payments for certain services as detailed in the chart below.

Activities involving gambling, gaming and/or any other activity with an entry fee and a prize, including, but not limited to casino games, sports betting, horse or greyhound racing, fantasy sports, lottery tickets, other ventures that facilitate gambling,

On the plus side at least there are a few of gods creatures that can enjoy their lives on this earth a bit longer without being killed for no reason.  😁

This coming from someone who broke paypal rules twice and wants help to continue breaking the rules without taking responsibility for their own actions.

As for reading the terms of posting how about you reading paypals user agreement and acceptable use policy before accusing them of theft and threatening a lawsuit.   🤣
