Buyer wants a refund after damage occurred to the item under their ownership

Sold a pair of earphones in perfectly working condition, and described on my original listing as such. Buyer received them and confirms that they "sound great" after "using them for a half hour". Buyer proceeds to contact me roughly 2 weeks after receiving them and saying they "work great", claiming that there is a small imperfection in the sound and is requesting a full refund. I suspect the damage (if any exists) occurred after they received the earphones. Is there any way to dispute this, or will PayPal generally side with the buyer on this one?

Paypal tend to favour the buyer BUT they have to send the item back to you first trackable to prove delivery at their own expense first.

BUT put in as MUCH info during the dispute phase for Paypal to review before the buyer escalates to a claim and wait for Paypals decision.

Good luck.
