Brevilleworld smart oven scam

I was scammed on the brevilleworld web site. Payed with paypal. File a dispute with paypal. They said that they did a investigation and rejected my claim because the item was delivered. They did not do a very good job because I was not the only one that was scam. The item was a smart oven for $259.99. I did a little research and found other people with the same complaints and paypal rejected their clam. The problem is paypal says the item was delivered but the invoice said the item that was delivered was 8lbs. The smart oven is 38.9lbs. I do not know how much more evidence did you need. All they had to say is **bleep** you we are not refunding your money instead they came up with a bogus investigation.

Item not received disputes are pretty much automated, seller provides tracking then seller wins.

You then have to do a bit of leg work yourself so my advice is...........

APPEAL

To submit an appeal on the dispute that was closed, PayPal asks that you obtain a detailed report from the shipper/courier (on their letterhead or some other form of official stationary) that includes the address the seller gave them for the shipment. Or one that includes a statement mentioning your address and saying the item was delivered to a different address.
Check tracking in below link to see where it went.
https://www.17track.net/en

When you have that, contact PayPal via phone (log on to your account and click Contact at the bottom of the page, however that may not be an option at the moment due to covid), or via Facebook (send a Private Message to PayPal) or via Twitter (send a Direct Message to @AskPayPal) and say you want to appeal the denial of the dispute based on the shipper saying the item was delivered to a different address. Once it's submitted (you will be provided with directions on how to do that), the dispute will be reviewed further and a determination will be made.

You also have the option to contact your card issuer if you funded your paypal payment that way and see if they will do a chargeback for you.

i had the exact same experience- 259.99, 8lbs. the UPS tracking number was real, and I can prove it went to someone else, but not on UPS letterhead.  UPS Customer Service sent me 2 emails including a screen shot of the actual shipper and receiver, and Paypal hasn't reopened my dispute!  This is horrendous!
