Being charged for returning misrepresented goods!

I am involved in a dispute (PP-D-80682057) where I returned a misrepresented item to a seller and got a refund. The seller’s now made a complaint about my transaction saying it was the wrong amount. PayPal have now deducted the amount from my account! I am extremely annoyed that PayPal have not bothered to read the email copies I supplied explaining that the mistake was at the sellers end. I intend to take this to the ombudsman first thing next week and claim a full refund+damages for the stress and the blocking of my account. Anyone got any other advise?
