It’s from Shu Uemura (may be others too if it’s owned by a parent company).

I recently noticed a charge for 222.61 in my PayPal account with this seller Beauty lci. I have know idea who is this seller and never bought anything from them. In my visa charge it says “L’Oréal.ca” for the same PayPal amount charged. Never did any purchases with L’Oréal.ca as well. When I filled out the the complained with unauthorized transaction, the PayPal replied to me : We have reviewed this transaction(s) and are denying your case(s). This decision was made because this transaction was not unauthorized.

And, now I don’t know how to be protected from such scam.

If you ever purchased anything from a subsidiary of L’Oréal Canada (such as Kiehls, Biotherm, La Roche-Posay and etc) through PayPal then it will appear as BeatyLCI.

There is a family, or group of Fraudsters who have set ups all over, they create doppelganger fake websites.  Here are 2 they have completely ripped off and copy pasted:

Fake #1: https://shops-eminem.com

Fake #2:  https://shop-eminem.us

Real one: https://shop.eminem.com

People think they're legit because they come up first, advertised on Google, But If you notice, on the fake websites, the social media links don't work, there's no albums for sale, and some items you straight up have no way to add to your cart, plus the dated copyright at the bottom of the website.

I suspect maybe you used one of their fake websites at one point in the time, and they're trying to charge your same paypal account, through maybe one of their other fraudster accounts.
