Are hand wired, built to order guitar amps considered to be custom made articles?

I read that Buyer protection does not offer coverage for "custom made Items that are not significantly as described".  I am planning to buy a guitar amp that is built to order by hand.  Does this mean it is considered a custom made item?

I imagined that was to mean something like a painting or sculpture, or something more esoteric.  The amps have very clear descriptions of their components and specs.  But they are technically made to order (though I can't customize them, I asked if they could do a speaker swap and was told no).

Any help is appreciated
