I recently had this issue on the 31st of December 2020 at around 4AM where I received a message stating that I had made a payment of 179.95 USD for a pair of glasses that I definitely did not purchase. And I went to check my PayPal and bank account immediately thinking it was a joke, but it was not, and to immediately try to stop the potential purchasing of further stuff, I transferred my money from my active bank account to my savings account. And reported my issue at that time, but now Paypal has gotten back to me and said this "Thank you for reporting this case. After reviewing your case, we found that this transaction was not unauthorized and hence couldn't be covered under PayPal Purchase Protection. " and closed the case. How am i supposed to follow up on the issue? Much thanks appreciated.
