Account limited with no explanation

My account was limited a couple of months ago and I was never told why and since then I have been unable to get any help from PayPal, I've tried calling but it hangs up every time and then when I emailed them I get an automated response that tells me absolutely nothing. The auto response actually tells me that if I don't understand to reply to the email but when I do that I get the same automated response. Absolutely terrible customer service on PayPal's side, absolutely furious.
