Account limitations

Hi,

I am trying to open a Chinese PayPal account. I have shown proof of identity and the residency permit that the police gave me to show my address however Paypal aren't accepting it as proof.

that is the only proof that I have as my company pays for the bills so they aren't in my name.

why won't paypal accept the legal paperwork of residence as proof?

I have tried messaging them but I just get the same automated faq and the phone line is closed.

Is there anyway to get this done?

Any help is appreciated

Proof of address
These documents must be dated within the last 3 months to be considered acceptable:

  • Current utility bill dated within the last 3 months
  • Bank, credit card, or financial statement
  • Cell phone bill

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

I don't have any of those due to my company paying my bills, my bank may be able to give me a form but I have my residency card stamped by the local authorities with my full name on it. surely that's proof of address.
