Hello, I was using my Paypal normally until a few weeks ago when I had to confirm my identity again. In the last step, Paypal wants a Credit Card which I do not own and my account is limited to only receiving funds. I have a debit/bank card linked to my account and was using that as a preferred payment for subscriptions like Netflix and so on for over a year. Can anyone help me understand what is the reason for limiting my account and if I cannot use this anymore without a Credit Card? It seems ridiculous to me since Credit cards are not so common here.

As you have not added your country to your community profile or said in your post then we can't help (Paypal varies a lot country to country).

Sadly to verify you need to add a credit card as you can't verify via a debit card.
