Today I received an email out of the blue that my account was closed and I have no idea why. I tried calling and they said they have no information on why other than it was assessed as a risk? I haven’t even been buying or selling much and I have never had any claims against me??? This has to be an error. Is there anyone else to talk to that can resolve this? It has to be an error.

Are you sure the email wasn't a spoof?

Have you logged into your account normally and NOT via any links in that email and is it limited?

If so then........

 

You need to contact customer services to resolve any limitation OR account specific issues.
Click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available for your country.

Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
