ACCOUNT LIMITATION

Hi, I'm always getting this notification on my paypal account about "Account limitation" and I need to confirm my identity on the dashboard. However, it's done 2 months ago, I've sent out proof of identity & address.

Also, I keep reading this message when I clicked on Dashboard "Thank you for providing the required information. We’ll get back to you within 2-3 business days."

Please have this check on my paypal account, I'm having trouble on those new features that are not functioning well. I have called the Customer Service hotline but after listening to those pre-recorded messages and about to tranfer to a Live Specialist but it Hung-Up's automatically. So, I was unable to connect with an agent to speak with. Kindly fixed this as soon as possible. Thank you.

I have 2 paypal accounts both have limitations on them my wallet was stolen and all my info was in it I reported it and now they won t release my funds for 180 days which is not cool because I have done everything they ask some days it's on and some days it's off I just want to get my money transferred to my bank and I will never use paypal again. I thought we had 100% coverage on unauthorized charges that seems to be a lie someone help angry user

Try the following (American PayPal account):

Call: <removed>

When asked (by a robot) to explain the problem say: "Account limitation".

This will take you to the Limitations department. 

When in contact with a real human being you have to say your name and the four last digits of your social security number/ITIN.

They will be able to lift the limitations on the account online while you wait a couple of minutes on the phone.

My paypal account had some limitations but now was "closed" because I can't provide any business documents for Paypal. Right now, it is way more than 180 days (which is written inside the "limitation policy" that I am able to withdraw my cash by then with email from PayPal) but I did not receive any email from PayPal to withdraw my money. 

 

Can anybody help me out on this?

 

There is no way I can contact PayPal on this issue.

I went to the PayPal FaceBook page and sent them a PM. Started to talk to a robot that repeated the same thing over and over. But I kept saying I wanted to talk to a real human being. Afte 1 day a woman answered on the chat asking me for the e-mail connected to my account. Then she gave me a phone number I could call. Calling that phone number (that for some strange reason gets removed when I try to post it here) solved my problem in 5 minutes 😄

The only remedy is to call PayPal phone number? I had email PayPal several times with the same old computer generated email response. Smiley Sad As I am residing abroad and not in my home country, I must try a budget way to call PayPal phone number. Glad that your account limitation is removed!

Yes, I'm afraid this is the only way to get any help from PayPal. Seems really old fashioned to me, but then again many things are oldfashioned in the US compared to the rest of the world (they still use paper checks for petes sake!). I have a US land line that I can use to call with IP/satelite technology (free of charge) from Europe. You should check it out 🙂
