I opened a dispute case on the 8th of March.

I am still waiting for a response from paypal, why is this so ?

You state on your web site that it takes 30 days to resolve an issue, so WHY have i been waiting 42 days with NO response ?

After this FIASCO is sorted i think you will be losing a customer, paypal has treated me in the worst way i have EVER been treated by a financial institution.

This is a user to user advice forum and not paypal customer services.

Have you escalated the dispute to a claim?

Was it a dispute for item not received OR not as described?

Or was it an unauthorised payment.

The dispute was escalated on the 5th of March.

Paypal emailed me on the 8th and then nothing until AFTER the claimed 30 day resolution limit.

I have contacted them but they have never replied to my email.

It has now been going on for 42 days, paypal's treatment of this issue is nothing short of disgusting.

At this rate i will be an ex-paypal user !

Weird, why not phone for an update?

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent OR just say the word 'Agent'".

In the UK its free from any landline phone.

OR have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?

You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.

It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPalUK and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

Hi.

I do not have facebook or twitter so those options are out.

In the past i have had reason to ring paypal and been left on hold for ages, no problem as they pay for the call, or they used to, only to then be cut off and left with a dead line.

If this is how they treat the people who keep them in business then all i can say is it's a wonder they still operate.

Well i didn't have Facebook until I needed to contact customer services.

Took me 5 minutes > asked the question i wanted > got a reply > closed the account.

As for phoning I just leave it on loudspeaker until they answer as its free in the UK.

But I can only give you the options, if you don't want to use it then thats your call.

Facebook is total garbage and i'm not opening an account just for one contact.

As for the phone, i was left on hold for over five minutes the last time and then the line went dead.

Paypal have dropped WAYYY down in my estimation.
