A. How do I add a debit or credit card to my account?

Here's how to add a card to your account:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click Profile near the top right corner of the page.
3. Click Profile and settings.
4. Click Financial information.
5. Click Update beside "Debit and credit cards".
6. Click Add a Card.
7. Select your card type and enter the required information.
8. Click Add Card.

Note:

• Some merchants cannot accept American Express. Consider adding a backup card to your account.
• A credit card or debit card can only be registered to one PayPal account.
• Once you verify your PayPal account you can link up to 8 credit cards or debit cards.

B. How do I get verified?

The only way you can get verified is by linking and confirming your credit card. Currently, there is no other option to get verified.

Due to recent changes to risk policies, we have stopped conducting manual verification. PayPal won't be verifying your bank statements from financial institutions in Indonesia, so linking and confirming a credit card is the only way to get verified. To go ahead and verify your PayPal account simply log in to your account, click Profile near top right corner of the page, and complete your To-do list.

D. What debit cards or credit cards can I use with PayPal?

You can use a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit card to pay with PayPal. You can also use a debit card that displays the Visa or MasterCard logo.

E. How do I link and confirm my credit card?

We ask you to link and confirm your credit card to verify that you are the card owner.

Here's how to link and confirm your credit card:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click Profile near the top right corner of the page.
3. Click Profile and settings.
4. Click Financial information.
5. Click Update beside "Debit and credit cards".
6. Click Link and Confirm My Card.
7. Click Save and Continue.

We'll charge your card $1.95 USD. This charge and a 4-digit PayPal code will appear on your card statement within 2 to 5 business days. The code sequence appears as PayPal*1234CODE or PP*1234CODE. You will need the first 4 digits to confirm your card. Once you've entered the correct code online, we'll refund the charge to your credit card. This may take up to 30 days to appear on your card statement.

If you can't access your online statement or this 4-digit code is unavailable online, check your next paper statement for this code. We cannot provide you with the 4-digit confirmation code by any other method.

Here's how to enter the 4-digit PayPal code to confirm your card:

1. Click Profile near the top right corner of the page.
2. Click Profile and settings.
3. Click Financial information.
