No longer have phone / Cant contact customer service

Hello,
I have a problem with accessing my paypal account: yesterday I bought an item online and immediately after purchasing I realized the website I bought it from was probably a scam. I entered paypal, reported the movement and tried to find the option to cancel the purchase. The next time I tried to log in paypal requested I confirm my identity through a SMS to my phone. The problem is, the phone number they have on my account is an old one and I no longer have access to it. I can confirm my identity by several other means (email / document , etc).
I tried to call customer service in Argentina but (after navigating the several options and choosing to be connected to a representative) got the message that customer service was closed (maybe because of Covid?).
I really need help solving this. And I would also appreciate help on how I can cancel the purchase I made.
