Problem with adding Paypal as payment method in Facebook ads

I have a problem trying to configure PayPal as a method of payment in Facebook Ads. I have no PayPal account associated with the Facebook Ads account, but it keeps saying:

{Sorry, we weren’t able to set up preapproved payments at this time.

Please return to the merchant and choose another way to pay.}

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community Forum!

I am sorry to hear that you cannot link your PayPal account to your Facebook account. Is your account limited, by any chance? This could be one of the reasons why you may not be able to link your PayPal account to Facebook. If yes, simply complete the steps in your Resolution Centre. If this is not the case, I would recommend reaching out to Facebook directly.
