I know this sounds crazy but I have indisputable proof on a situation where eBay collects excess fees during Closed Resolution Cases. I would love for someone at PayPal to take the time to understand the facts i can provide, since the underlying issue ends up being charged twice in PayPal fees in a particular situation. Whom could best assist?

Hi @ChuckAsks,

I'm sorry to hear of the possibility of a duplicate charge! If you have been unable to report the charges through the Resolution Center, please contact customer support to discuss the situation. You can reach customer support by Facebook, Twitter, or phone or email.

I hope this helps!

Olivia

Hi there - I had a question regarding donations. We are a non-profit required to send out notifications regarding donations. How do we make the collection of a donor's address a mandatory field? Thanks for the help!

Hey @SimeoneMuseum,

I definitely understand how important it is to have your donors' addresses. Regrettably, this isn't something we offer with our buttons. The buyer/sender has the option during checkout to click a box that does not share their address with the receiver, and it's completely up to them if they want to provide that information or not. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. 😞

Is this on the agenda to fix?

@SimeoneMuseum,

Unfortunately, this isn't something we are offering with the free buttons. 😞 You would need to find a third-party source to create this for your website. I understand this may be frustrating, but hopefully you'll be able to find an alternative that works for you.

Hello,

So i bought smartphone screen online from company (not from ebay). Payed with paypal. The screen i received was smaller than it should be, the screen should be 5.5 inch, I received screen 5 inch and when you turn on display its even more smaller (you can see black bezzels arround) and picture quality is not good either. So if I open PP Dispute as that the item i received is not as described, will i win the case for FULL refund? Cause the company didn't described that the screen is smaller on theyre website, they did not said that its 5.5" either, but I mean, the phone original size is 5.5inch. Tried contacting them, they want so i would send it back, but they dont wan't to pay for shipping (they're in EU, so shipping is not that expensive). So i told them that it's theyre responsibility to pay for my shipping if they didn't stated in description that screen is smaller than original! Then they offered partial refund, which is 10 euros less than the screen price with shipping, i refused, cause i want full refund. In the end they said "open paypal dispute" cause i said, if we can't talk out, i would do it. So what you think? Would i win the case?

After last message, that return only item price, they didn't answered at all, like 4 working days and usually they would answer the next working day. I suggested returning but wont pay for my shipping, they didnt stated that the lcd is smaller also theyre returning is kinda "were going to check whats wrong with item" even tho i sent them photos.

Please help

Hi @Osor113,

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with the case and seller. 😞 That definitely sounds frustrating, and I'll provide whatever help I can. In these situations, you can file a dispute for your item not being as described. We do require you to ship the item back at your own expense, but we offer Return Shipping on Us, which can cover some or all of the return shipping cost if you qualify. Once the item shows it's returned to the correct address, you would receive a full refund!
